William Miller is co-founder, along with his wife, Debra, of two non-profit organizations, the Global Dharma Center (USA) and the Center for Dharmic Leadership (India), focused on making spirituality the basis for leadership and work. Their projects include an international research program on “Spiritual-Based Leadership” and a self-guided program on “Human Values at Work: Making Spirituality the Inner Context for Your Work.” They have just completed a project in collaboration with UN-HABITAT on “Human Values and Ethics in the Workplace” for the water education, supply and sanitation sectors. They reside in a spiritual community 100 miles north of Bangalore, India.
William has been an internationally recognized expert on values-driven corporate renewal and innovation since the mid-1980s, when he was senior consultant for innovation management at SRI International (Stanford Research Institute, USA). As president of the Global Creativity Corporation since 1987, he has explored with clients — including corporations in more than a dozen countries worldwide — how creativity, business and spirituality are all facets of the same jewel. Two of his four books have been rated among the top 30 business books of the year in the USA by Executive Book Summaries. He has been a guest faculty member at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. |
